Softward Engineer 1 (The junior position)

MAJOR ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
> User administration for Managed Operations product, including Web Portal, Remedy and Netcool
> Interact with Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams to analyze and track technical issues, can solvesome basic environmental or operational issues.
> Interact with engineering team on the support the bug fixes
> Maintain / update customer data through the web portal or database interface
> Write technical documents
> 24x7 support with majority China daytime, but need flexibility to work on night shift for some emergency issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
> Production Application and User Support is required
> Application troubleshooting is required
> Knowledge of SQL, Oracle database is required
> Knowledge of Web portal realted lanague (JSP, Coldfusion or Java Script) is preferred
> Knowledge of XML is preferred
> Knowledge on Remedy or other workflow software is preferred
> Knowledge on Netcool or other event management software is preferred.
> Working Experience of snmp proctocl(mib knowledge), Linux, Solaris administration
> Team Oriented
> Outstanding analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
> Outstanding written and oral communication skills
> Fluency in English
> Strong self-motivation
> BS degree, MS preferred
